![]() There was a time when sex and the act of making love was something that was considered sacred. It was an act that was a gift of the Goddess and as such was honored and thought of as a part of life. Both men and women were often initiated into sacred rites by a specially trained man or woman. Through these rites, a young man or young woman became a responsible adult, someone who was now ready to undertake to contribute to the whole community. As temples were built in honor of the Goddess the responsibility of initiation was given to the temple priestesses. Some women were trained to become Temple Prostitutes, whose main role was to restore men back to wholeness after the war and help them to reconnect with their souls and heart. These women would dance the dance of Shakti and be a vessel for the Goddess to come through. The personal self has stepped out of the way and became a vehicle for the energy of the Goddess to flow through her. In the temple of love, the sacred prostitute’s primary offering to the goddess was her welcoming of the stranger, thought to be the emissary of the gods or perhaps the god incarnate. If she were a maiden, he initiated her into the mysteries of her feminine sexuality under the aegis of the goddess. “The Holy Whore as "a woman, who, through ritual or psychological development, has come to know the spiritual side of her sexuality, her true Eroticism, and lives this out according to her circumstances." -The Sacred Prostitute, Nancy Qualls-Corbett In the fertile areas of the world where people were more agrarian-based, and respected nature and the Goddess, the waring more nomadic tribes began to move across the Bering Strait and invaded these peace-loving people. As a result these nomadic raiders generally wiped out all of the men and boys and intermarried with the women. Over time these goddess-based cultures began to embrace the values of their conquerors. Sex began to become profane with the onset of the Church's gradual annihilation of the role of the goddess. As Christianity became more politically based and the desire for power over the people more prevalent the role of the temple priestesses was diminished. The Demise of seeing sex as a sacred act began when the worship of the goddess was discouraged and all that she represented was no longer being practiced. The sacred feminine went from holy to unholy, from sacred to profane and the sacred prostitute was drastically altered. There came a time when the goddess was no longer worshiped; the physical and spiritual aspects of the feminine were declared evil. From this point on women who represented sexuality and the goddess were also condemned by the Church Patriarchs as, “the embodiment of sensuous seduction, the reason for man’s downfall; she was tempted by evil forces and in turn tempted man.” -The Sacred Prostitute, Nancy Qualls-Corbett So the act of sex was also condemned and taught that it could only be done for the procreation of the species. Sex then became profane and all-natural bodily functions became gross, shameful, and not to be spoken of. As you may know, anything that is forbidden becomes a taboo, and all taboos become desirable. Women are convinced over thousands of years, that having sexual desire is not a feminine quality so that any woman who desired sexual gratification must be unfeminine and a “whore”. Diana Rose Heartman in her article Musings of the Sacred Whore, states, “The word 'whore' actually comes from the Hebrew root word ‘hor’ meaning dark pit or hole. The Spanish word for whore, puta, derives from the Latin term for a well, but the Latin term for the grave, literally "a hole in the earth," is puticuli, meaning womb of rebirth. These terms for whore were not derogatory. The Latin term had its root in the Vedic, an early Sanskrit language, wherein the word puta is defined as pure and holy. The cave, the pit, the hole, and the bottomless black lake were metaphors for the Great Goddess.“ In Kathleen Barry's book, The Prostitution of Sexuality, she says that "sexual exploitation objectifies women by reducing them to sex; sex that incites violence against women and that reduces women to commodities for market exchange. Sexual exploitation is the foundation of women's oppression socially normalized." I have always considered myself to be a sex-positive individual and a rather open-minded woman when it comes to sex practices and all the different ways in which we humans like to "get off" or find our pleasure. As a woman who has been a sex educator and a teacher of sacred sexuality as well as a sexual healer, I have personally experienced what it means to be classified as a "sex worker" by the culture at large. ![]() Today we see the result of these beliefs that have become normalized in our culture. Sex for the most part has become a thriving industry that makes billions of dollars yearly. Who sells these products? Women. It is a woman's body that is the commodity once again, and women, even well-paid women in the sex industry, are unconsciously supporting the system that exploits them and sex. The prostitution of sexuality is in full swing and because it is big business it is unlikely to change. So what can you do, given that we are living in a world where sex is seen as entertainment rather than a sacred act of love. The following are a few things we can do to help shift sex from the profane back to the sacred.
The change we seek must come from each one of us who wishes to live in a different culture and now is the time to move in the direction of creating a new culture. You don't have to wait for someone else to do it for you. All that is needed is that you take a stand for what you wish to support and see happening in the world and begin to live that way. To teach your children those values and then we begin to create a New World within the old. These are just a few ideas and I welcome any that you may have.

![]() What makes a woman her most alluring? Is it her brains, beauty, wit, charm, or sex appeal? What are the elements that create female sexual empowerment? Some might say that for a woman to be sexually empowered she must be experienced. Others might say she must know how to be charming and have great sexual charisma, but true female sexual empowerment includes all of this and more. You may think that with the over usage of the word “sexy” these days, the prostitution of sex, and the rampant use of pornography as the new form of sex education, that female sexual empowerment is a given. But the message that is being blasted into the minds and hearts of teen girls and young adult women is not one of sexual empowerment but rather one of enslavement. The truth is that what makes a woman truly powerful is learning how to use her natural given gifts and talents. Those things that make her, you, the funniest, smartest, or wittiest and to learn how to cultivate these talents and attributes whether they be beauty, wit, brains, sex appeal, or all of the above. Betsey Prioleau author of the book, Seductress, Women Who Ravished the World and Their Lost Art of Love, tells us that the archetype of the seductress has been given a bad rap. "She has been villainized as the terrible goddess {who} rules over desire and seduction, a bloodthirsty ball breaker like Salome and Circe, and the antithesis of virtuous femininity." Throughout history, there have been women who have taken their Goddess talents and ravished the world in which they lived. Without these sex goddesses, we would not have known what true female sexual empowerment looked like, felt like, or acted like. What made these women different from the rest of the women of their time? Many lived during eras where women had no choices of any kind, no education, or way to earn a living other than what was dictated to them by the social structure in which they lived. Why were these women unafraid to step out of the mold and dare to be true to themselves? By understanding this we can learn how we can do the same today. Dressing sexy or having a lot of sexual experience doesn't give you true sexual empowerment although it may give you self-confidence. It is what our current western culture would like us to believe but it falls short in describing and demonstrating what authentic feminine sexual empowerment is. I say sexual, because, women are sexual by design. They have breasts and vulvas and for thousands of years during the reign of the Great Goddess, were seen as the Creatress of all life. In the ancient religions of the Goddess men and women have envisioned goddesses of sexuality and worshipped them. The ever-present symbol of that is the yoni or triangle. A New Roadmap Women today need a new roadmap to learn how to reconnect with their authentic feminine power. This can be found in many ways but the one way that I suggest is one of the most interesting and effective is through studying the seductresses of old and new. Women today have the advantage that many of these women did not have. Today we have permission to explore our sexuality, to dress with a flare that expresses our own sense of style, we are independent, self-supporting, and have more sexual experience than our predecessors were ever allowed. Learning how to embody and integrate the archetypes of the goddesses of love as well as the sacred sensual and essential arts of seduction would support women in embodying more of their authentic sexual power. ![]() The Art of Seduction The Sirens of old knew that to be a woman who understood the art of seduction you had to first be true to your own yourself. They were brave, and courageous and weren't afraid to break the rules. Here are some of the things I have learned from them and from my own experience.
If you wish to conquer the world be brave, bold, daring, and the most authentic version of yourself that you can be. You are already a unique person since each of us is born with our own unique gifts and talents. Make the most of what you already have, show off your strengths, and underplay your weaknesses. Trust yourself and your own intuition as to what action needs to be taken when it does and even if you make a mistake just carry on as if it was meant to be. The last and most important thing to remember is that as a woman who knows how to handle her innate sexual power never, ever apologize for it. Never ever apologize for being a woman who is too hot to handle. ![]() There was a time when sex and the act of making love was something that was considered sacred. ![]() Who is Lilith and what does she have to say to women at this time? What is her gift to you and to womankind? To answer these questions, I need to share first more about Lilith as an archetype of the Original First Woman something that is not often known. Lilith as an archetype is a template for women to use so that we can reconnect with our essential feminine power. As a part of my teachings, Lilith is more than just the demonic seductress that she is often depicted as. She holds the key to our very essential nature as a woman. This information has been hidden for thousands of years and is now ready to be revealed to women through the teachings of The Priestess of the Flame Training based on my lineage as a Keeper of the Flame. What Does Lilith Represent? "Lilith is the true ancestress of humankind; She is the eternal root of the Sacred Feminine from humankind’s spiritual genesis, she symbolizes the archetypal role women once held. Lilith is the triune goddess, snake, bird, and Tree of Life. She is the Alpha and Omega of everywoman's journey."~ Lilith, Keeper of the Flame. Lilith is not only the representation of the primordial feminine energy, the raw passion and independent spirit of a woman but she far, more importantly, is the aspect of a woman that knows herself to be a holy and sacred vessel of the creative power of the universe. She is the original sexual initiatress. "Lilith immortalizes the memory of a woman’s true sexual nature that originated from the primordial Garden. She represents the undivided transgender state of unitary wholeness and the sexual practices taught to convey their memory to others." ~ Lilith Keeper of the Flame. ![]() The Power of Our Sexual Nature The true power of our feminine sexual nature has been corrupted so that we have forgotten our rightful place as the sexual initiatress that we are. This role is very important because the use of our sexual energy is a gateway to the restoration of the Divine Feminine Energy. Our sexual energy when used with a sacred clear intent brings harmony and balance back into our own lives and relationships as well as into the world. It has only been through making women's sexual power something to fear that sex and women's bodies have become profane, a commodity, entertainment, something to be bought and sold, and violence against women normalized. Now more than at any other time in our history we have the opportunity to change these messages. The time has come for womankind to take a stand for a new way of being with their sexual power. This will begin to establish a new paradigm for us all and free us from the patriarchal controls we have adhered to for over 5,000 years. You can begin to reconnect yourself as the Sexual Initiatress and the archetype of Lilith by:
We must reconnect with our internal Lilith and her teachings that are so needed at this time for all women and girls. When you do you will begin to become a more fully integrated, sovereign, and sexually conscious woman who is committed to being an anchor of the New Divine Feminine Energy and helping to establish a new paradigm for women's sexuality. ![]() When we live as Embodied Presence we offer a healing presence to everyone we connect with. To live as Presence is to be in alignment with the quantum field of pure consciousness, pure potential, and possibility. These are some of the questions I have asked myself for many years which I have after years of mediation practice and study, finally begun to truly understand and embody for myself. For the past two months, I have been in the process of releasing how I have distracted myself from paying attention to my essential nature, the stillness of being. I have been going deeper into this exploration of my True Self, allowing everything I have identified with to drop away. This included the story of me or the personal self, my successes and failures, especially regarding my career choices. As well as how I saw myself being in the world and all of the roles I have played and am still playing, identifying with, and seeing myself as. It included letting go of all the ways I was judging myself, comparing myself, and in general finding fault with, the personal self, and the constant healing of that self and all of her baggage. It was during this process of letting go of the false identification of "myself" and the deeper awakening to my True Nature that my awareness expanded and my vibration shifted along with my perspective. This shift came to me one morning during my meditation when I suddenly realized that I no longer needed to try to be "spiritually awake" because I was already that and more. The shift was only something that I knew had occurred within myself. I suddenly felt that I had already arrived at the place I needed to be and I just had to start living from the place of Embodied Presence. I no longer needed to do anything to get there all that was required was to be there and live it. I am sharing this with you so that you have a guide map in case you too have been experiencing a sense of loss of your old identity as the old world continues to fall apart shifting its identity. Especially during these past few months the old ways of perceiving ourselves and the world has been dissolving whether we have been ready for it or not. What is required of each of us is to also let go of the old ways in which we have been seeing ourselves or identifying ourselves. To flow more with what is taking place in the outer world, we too must let go of the old ways we have perceived ourselves, our relationships, and the world and begin to embrace a new way of being as the New Earth emerges. This process of dying to the old person you have been and being reborn without attaching yourself to another role, idea, or belief about yourself takes a true commitment to your process of awakening. ![]() Living as Embodied Presence:
Cultivating Embodied Presence requires noticing your thoughts, your reactivity, any resistance to what is, and learning how to relax and let go and accept the way it is for that moment. Then from that place, you can begin to take action as you are feeling guided. Learning how to meditate is one way you can develop your awareness and witness or observer so that you can begin to notice your thoughts, emotions, and your reactivity to what life may throw at you. Remember that your True Nature, the ever-present stillness that is you, pure consciousness, is always there if you are willing to put your attention on it rather than on the distractions of the world and your life. Overtime when your attention is on the ever-present silence within, you will begin to unwind more and more and relax from the inside out thus emanating this healing vibration to everyone and everything. For me, living from Embodied Presence is a moment-to-moment experience. It isn't something that I can plan to do or try to do. It is only something that I can do right now. I can learn how to slow down, listen to my inner voice, connect with the stillness of being and begin to be the observer of my own life. I can stop and just be in the present moment, notice whatever is going on in my environment, and really see it. I can allow myself to stop whatever I am doing and be still and attune myself to the stillness that is our Essential Nature. The quantum field is everywhere. We live in it and it lives in us. We can never really escape it. the only thing we can learn to do is to let go of the distractions of the world that constantly pull us away from our innermost being. We can learn how to witness our thoughts, feelings, reactions, and know that we are not our story, or those feelings, thoughts, or the roles we play in life. None of these things define who we are. When you are willing to step out of the narrative of what you tell yourself about your own life and even about the world, then a space will open up for you in which you can begin to know that still calm presence that is you. I invite you to take the time to stop and get to know yourself in a new way and to begin to live in a new reality. ![]() For most of my life, I have been dedicated to self-mastery. My orientation for this was based on my studies of the Ascended Master Teachings and of my spiritual training with a non-denominational New Thought metaphysical organization, The Teaching of the Inner Christ for over 13 years. I was taught that when one becomes the master of their own life, they are then able to have dominion over every aspect of their life as well as living from their Higher Self and being fully self-realized. Since COVID much of my understanding of mastery has expanded as I feel that we are all undergoing an initiation of sorts, as we deal with the shadow controllers’ games of fear and oppression. Understanding Our Ascension Process Part of our Ascension process is to be able to learn how to face these new challenges by first being willing to see our own shadow aspects play out and then by owning these parts of ourselves and healing them. Once we move beyond our need to project our shadow onto others, we can then begin to access the part of ourselves that is committed to Being, and from this place of Being, we will be able to connect with the courage and strength that we didn’t even know we had. As the old paradigm continues to unravel and the universe begins to realign itself into a new configuration of reality, we are all being called to learn how to live from Being, or from our Higher Self, and our Essential Nature. We are being called to expand our consciousness so that we no longer feel that living in a body is limited. We are being given the opportunity to step beyond our programming of limitation and expand our abilities of self-healing, and our innate superpowers that have been dormant for thousands of years. We are being called to let go of the old 3D paradigm of living and step into and embrace the new paradigm instead. ![]() The Old Paradigm vs the New Paradigm The old paradigm is something we are all familiar with. It has brought us to where we are now. This programming has told us the same message over and over again. Life is hard and it causes suffering, struggling, and pain. Working hard is the only way to achieve anything. It tells us that aging is horrible and leads to the slow decay of the body, disease, and death. This way of thinking and being encourages us to feel limited and unable to heal ourselves and to look outside ourselves for help. The old paradigm has set-up systems that support all of this and encourages us to play small, keep our head down, and don't be too original. Giving away our power has become the norm in this paradigm. Politics is the arena that is used to stir up the people and keep them divided pitted against each other, Red against Blue, and so on. The old paradigm tells us that the only way to get ahead is to compete and to look out for number one. It tells us that there isn’t enough for us all, so we need to fight for what we want and hold on to it. Being famous is something we should all want and having lots of stuff is now the American dream and worshipping those who have these things is the norm. The old paradigm is all about survival, consumerism, and separating yourself from the " have and the have nots." The model of scarcity, being kept in debt, and that attaining extreme wealth is only for an elite. It also uses up all of our natural resources and sees nature as something to conquer, putting profits above life. Disempowerment, giving up our sovereign rights of freedom to choose what we want to put into our bodies, making us think that we need to turn to someone outside of ourselves to save us from whatever is the issue being fostered as a threat, are part of the old paradigm. The new paradigm is based on collaboration, cooperation, prosperity for all, learning how to self-govern, connecting to our own Source connection, sovereignty, and living in harmony with nature. The new paradigm establishes itself in the core values that all people matter. That it doesn’t matter what race or religion you are, how much money you have or don’t have. All people deserve to have a good quality of life. To thrive rather than survive. This new way of living is based on abundance rather than scarcity saying that there is enough of everything if we learn how to use our resources consciously. It shows us that there is enough food to end starvation, that we have the money and resources to replenish the Earth, and to resolve many of our major problems. The new paradigm brings us together rather than apart and supports anyone who feels passionate about their idea that can contribute to creating a world that reflects these new values. Disclosure of the many solutions that exist right now which can be utilized for the environment, medicine and health, technology, and more. The new paradigm helps us to restore our natural superhuman talents and gifts and to begin to activate them once again. We are asked to take back our power and to learn to think for ourselves. To first do the research and educate ourselves in order to make the right decision that aligns with our best interests. This new reality tells us that we live in a friendly universe and that the Unified Field is right here surrounding us as part of us and providing us with the direct means with which to co-create our reality as we truly wish it to be. It says that we have a direct connection to Source energy and all we need to do is be able to sustain and high enough vibration and have a focused intention. In the new paradigm, you and I are co-creators of our own reality. We learn that we are always doing that whether we know it or not, but that now we are being encouraged to learn how to do so consciously. The master of Being is something that we have an opportunity to practice every moment of every day. But it does take a conscious commitment and a choice to begin to engage with that part of yourself that desires to be something more than what we have been told we are capable of. This is a new opportunity for all of us to begin to step into a new way of Being that allows us all to awaken to who we truly are, and to truly understand that each of us has the innate ability to take charge of our own lives and to be a collaborator in creating a new world.
